Patty Jo Rotzell Flyte

Patty Jo Flyte, 71, of Bangor, PA passed away Tuesday, December 24th, at St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem, PA. Patty Jo was born in Easton, PA on January 22, 1948, a daughter of the late Quintus and Averil (Miller) Rotzell. Patty Jo was employed as a Certified Nurse Assistant at Chandler Estates in Plainfield Twp., PA until retiring. After retirement, she continued to work as a private home caregiver in the slate belt area. She was a 1965 graduate of Easton High School. She enjoyed spending time at the Slate Belt Senior Center and going to local dances and summer concerts with all her friends. She was a member of Cross Road Baptist Church in Bangor, PA. Patty Jo is survived by a daughter, Cathy Tocket, wife of Seann, a son, Clayton T Flyte, husband of Stacey, two brothers, Greg Rotzell, husband of Pinky, and Chris Rotzell, husband of Melody, four grandchildren; Kayla, and Haley Flyte, Brett Tocket, and Makenna Tocket-LaRose, wife of David, 2 great-grandchildren: Mason and Chase LaRose. Sister-in-law Rebecca Lessig and best friend Mabel Eckley, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Quentin Rotzell. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 3rd, 2020 at the Cross Road Baptist Church, 201 S. 2nd Street, Bangor, PA, with Rev. Jay VanHorn officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 10 - 11 am on Friday, January,3rd at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James B.
